13 Way to Drive Traffic To Your Site

Once your blog or website is up and running the next question is what are the ways to drive traffic to your site.  This question is a very good one and if you are looking to monetize your site then you will need all of the traffic you can get.  There would be no Adsense revenue or affiliate commission without driving visitors to your site.  Here are 13 ways to drive traffic to you blog.

  1. Squidoo – You can build a Squidoo Lense about your top and include links back to your blog.
  2. Blog Directories – Blog directories are always a great option.  You can use a blog directory to submit your blogs to many places at the same time.  It’s a good idea to pick blog directories that are similar to what your blog is about.
  3. Hubpages – Hubpages is a great place to link to.  You can create a hub (blog) on Hubpages about your blog and link back to your blog.  Hubpages hubs rank very quickly for some reason on Google search engines many times within a matter of 24-48 hours.  Hubpages also has several was to monetize their hubs as well so the revenue potential is there for a second source of online income.
  4. Twitter – Start a Twitter account and register a user name under the name of your blog or something very similar.  You can then tweet links to your blog to all of your followers.
  5. Facebook – If you have a Facebook account you can link your profile on Facebook.
  6. GoArticles – Sign up to go articles and submit a few articles relating to your blog content and link back to your site.
  7. EzineArticles – The same as #6 if you have an EzineArticle account you can write related articles linking back to your website or blog.
